Cause of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome: Nutritional Deficiency

Although there is no published scientific evidence that chronic fatigue syndrome is caused by a nutritional deficiency, many patients report intolerances for certain substances that may be found in foods or over-the-counter medications. However, further evidence is needed to prove that nutritional deficiency is a cause of chronic fatigue syndrome. It is important to note that a balanced diet can be conducive to better health in general and would be expected to have beneficial effects in any chronic illness.
